Description:

Probably the most famous winter resort adjacent to King County (located in Kittitas County, just near its border with King County) is The Summit, situated at Snoqualmie Area. Its ski area is comprised of 1,981 acres territory spread over 4 peaks. A part of its popularity was gained due to its close location to Seattle – only 45 minutes drive from Seattle (in eastward direction) on I-90, and you are there.

The Summit actually consists of 4 parts – Alpental, Summit West, Summit Central and Summit East

Summit Central (Exit 53 from I-90) is probably a crucial component of this resort. This area has something to offer for everyone, irrespective of age and skill level. Here the diversity of the terrain provides the visitors with a great variety of winter recreation resources. Of course, alpine skiing is the primary activity here, but Nordic (cross-country) skiing, snowshoeing, ice-climbing and winter tubing are also provided and enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of people throughout the snowy season. A big number of runs are ready to meet both – only beginners and already professional skiers.

The visit of Holiday Area of Summit Central this year brought us a lot of joy and entertainment. If you have no your own gear, there is a possibility to rent it there. The process of rental will not take a lot of time, and the equipment offered there is of a good quality and in a good shape.

The beautiful scenery around makes the time spend there even more precious and enjoyable. Don’t forget to bring your camera with you as you will definitely be eager to get the fascinating views and unforgettable experience to be embedded not only in your memory but also on your photos.
