Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park has the territory of 7,470 acres with 27,000-feet of freshwater shoreline. The forest is a registered national natural landmark that can tell a lot about the history of the region.
Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park Backcountry offers wonderful shrub-steppe views as well as the feeling of freedom. Backcountry trail is a 5-mile (roundtrip) trail that takes its’ beginning from Recreation Road and takes you above gorgeous basalt cliffs.
