These agricultural fields are considered a true natural work of art. Here you can see stunning meadows, very similar to the waves on the sea. In August, when the shooting took place, the fields are covered with gold of ripened wheat and cereals. in spring, the dunes are flooded with a bright green color, and in winter the fields become snow-white, desert-like dunes. The territory of the Palouse region is located on hills and dunes. The dark color of fertile soil is interspersed with various shades of green, yellow, brown. This sight is really very beautiful and attractive. The agricultural fields of the Palouse region occupy a vast territory and even spread over several states at once. Among them are Idaho, Washington and Oregon. In total, the fields cover about 3,000 square miles. A variety of leguminous plants, as well as wheat, are grown in these open spaces.
Passing through incredibly beautiful fields of wheat and other crops, you and Roman will drive along Marvin Wells Rd and Fugate rd, which is crossed by the Palouse River rd. You will be able to see the bright colors of the dunes and plains, the wide pastures of cattle, a variety of agricultural equipment and barns scattered here and there. And if you look closely, you can see a piece of the Spokane, Spangle & Palouse railway! Wildfires raged here in the Palouse region, in other parts of Washington state and in California a month before filming. But even after the bottom, the beauty and uniqueness of this place has not stopped to amaze!
