The Glacier Basin Trailhead was once used for mining, especially copper ore. But in the 1800s, the authorities came to the conclusion that nothing of commercial value could be found here and reclassified the mining road as a tourist trail! The trail runs along the White River and lasts approximately 3.5 miles. An iconic feature of this trail is that following it and climbing a steep ascent, you will have a view of the Emmons Glacier, the largest glacier in the contiguous 48 United States. Swampy soils and fragile plants, however, are still delightfully beautiful and touching, especially against the backdrop of gray impregnable mountains and glaciers!
Our filmmaker Roman Khomlyak went to Mount Rainier National Park back in 2014 to shoot a documentary about this place. He wanted to show the greatness of the nature of Washington. the beauty and magnificence of the relict forest and the brightness of the colors of the mountain slopes. At this point on the Glacier Basin trail, he stopped for a bite to eat and at the same time to create a separate relaxation video. Autumn colors and a cheerful wild mountain stream in this 4K nature soundscape video will do a great job of creating a pleasant relaxed atmosphere in which it is so wonderful to dream, relax and enjoy the sounds of nature!
