Along the way you will meet some furry locals (00:00:00). "Look, this chipmunk (00:51:21), together with his brother, pursued us and begged for nuts! And if we did not treat them, then they themselves climbed into our backpacks in search of sweets. And here is an American groundhog or Marmota (01:27:39). Look what big and fluffy. On our backway we met a white mountain goat (01:46:53). There are quite a lot of them in this part of Washington state. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to get closer and take it off in all its glory, " - says Roman about their fellow travelers during the hike.

"When you hike trails like this, IT IS VERY HARD TO RECORD THE CORRECT SOUND, so you can hear the operator breathing on the video. We tried to minimize this inconvenience by placing microphones on the back of the backpacks. But still, sometimes the sound of hard breathing is on the record. We arrive here every summer. But it was in August 2022 for the first time that we were able to shoot a really clear summer day. USUALLY, at this time of the year, forest fires rage in Washington state. But that year we were lucky and the day was pretty amazing!" Roman shares his impressions.
