Adams County is the 14-th largest county in Washington State. The territory of the county is 1,925 square miles. This county is considered to be mostly a rural county, which is situated in southeastern Washington. It borders Lincoln County to the north, Franklin County to the south, Whitman County to the east and Grant County to the west.
Asotin County is situated in the southeast part of Washington. The largest town is Clarkston with the population of about 8,000 people. Seven miles from Clarkston the town of Asotin is situated. Asotin is the county seat. With the territory of 636 square miles this county is the sixth smallest county in Washington.
Benton County is located in the southeast part of Washington State. The county was formed in 1847. The county is located near the junction of the Columbia River, Snake and Yakima Rivers. The Columbia River forms northern, eastern and southern boundaries of the county.
Chelan County is known for its great summers with beautiful weather and blue lake. This county is located on the territory where the Cascades Mountains and the eastern part of Washington desert are joined together. The main attractions here are, of course, the views of the superb mountains, rivers and lakes. Lake Chelan is a glacier-fed lake and is one of the must-see attractions in the area.
There are great possibilities for picnics near the water; there is a special picnic area in the park. Manson Bay Park is perfect for swimming, especially for kids, because here is a specially designated swim area with lifeguards. This is the only beach on Lake Chelan that has lifeguards.
Old Mill Park is located on Lake Chelan and offers great scenic views and perfect picnics. Lake Chelan is a deep and large lake. Its’ depth is over 1,500, and it is perfect for boating.
