Coal Creek Trail is an easy hike that will tell you a lot about the history of coal mining in this region. Ron Regis Park is a 45-acre park which is located along the Maple Valley Highway. The City of Renton has developed and expanded this territory and organized it for different sport activities.

Liberty Park is the oldest park in the city of Renton. Before 1914 this park belonged to the Sartori family, who sold the twelve acre park on July 14, 1914. Originally this park was called City Park and later the name was changed to Liberty Park in remembrance of World War I.
