There are great possibilities for picnics near the water; there is a special picnic area in the park. Manson Bay Park is perfect for swimming, especially for kids, because here is a specially designated swim area with lifeguards. This is the only beach on Lake Chelan that has lifeguards.

Chelan County is known for its great summers with beautiful weather and blue lake. This county is located on the territory where the Cascades Mountains and the eastern part of Washington desert are joined together. The main attractions here are, of course, the views of the superb mountains, rivers and lakes. Lake Chelan is a glacier-fed lake and is one of the must-see attractions in the area.
Manson is a rural community near the beautiful Chelan Lake. It is a small town situated beneath hillside orchards. Manson is situated in about an hour drive from Wenatchee, WA and in about 3.5 hour drive from Seattle, WA and this drive is breathtaking.
