Seattle boasts lots of gorgeous parks which give you a chance to know this city from a new perspective. Discover one of the largest parks in Seattle, Jefferson Park!
It’s an awesome public park and golf course, covering 52.4 acres and located on Beacon Hill, in South Seattle, Washington. It was named for one of the American Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson. The park features the Golf Course, Lawn Bowling Club, Community Center, Skate Park, Beacon Mountain.
Spend a wonderful day in Jefferson Park. You won’t be disappointed! This family friendly park is especially perfect for kids of different ages and their parents, skateboarders of all levels, runners, golfers. It’s a great spot for nature lovers.
There's lots of open green space with trees in blossom, evergreen trees, nice shrubs and cute yellow flowers on the lawns. There is a parking area with lots of space. You can find great number of benches, several picnic tables and shelters, a driving range, nice monuments and sculptures scattered about the park, a large green field for lawn games, paved walking trails, parking lots for bicycles and more.
Actually, everyone can find something for him in the park. It’s an amazing spot for everybody from babies to senior people. You can enjoy almost all kinds of outdoor activities – walking, jogging, cycling, playing different active games, water activities in summer, skateboarding and more.
Tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields, picnic shelters may be reserved by contacting the Park’s Office. The park is very clean and well-maintained. It’s a paradise for kids. The park features a large play area with slides, mini zip line, swings, a seesaw, giant climbing blocks which are similar to climbing walls but with multiple different angles.
Lots of kids have fun at Beacon Mountain spraypark enjoying refreshing water in summer. You can’t pass by an amazing Skate Park. An amazing bright red art piece called “Skate-Space” by CJ Rench makes this park unique. Lots of teenagers come there to snowboard and bike.
