Day Street Park is really easy to be found as it’s located in the central part of Seattle, just under the I-90 bridge.
Of course, this park will not take you away from the sounds and fuss of the city, as it’s too small and located too close to the highway, but it offers you a spectacular view. It’s a great place to stop after a long walk to have a rest and admire a beautiful Lake Washington and the Cascades.
Being a waterfront area gives the Day Street Park a special magnetism in the eyes of people, who love open access to the water. There is also a boat ramp just down the road, so that during the warm months you can enjoy the view of the boats sailing on the lake.
If you prefer more active recreation and are fond of fishing, there is a fishing dock at the Day Street Park.
Being located in the central part of Seattle, Day Street Park may become your favorite place for spending your lunch time or seeing a sunrise, a great place to commune with yourself as it is very really crowded.
This little, cozy, well-maintained park will leave no one indifferent.
