Ferdinand Street Boat Launch is one of the beautiful spots along the shores of Lake Washington Boulevard in Seattle. It’s truly amazing like everything in Seattle! There are wood benches, clean and well maintained walking and biking paths along the lake and a parking zone. It’s a very short walk to the lake from your car. It’s really a great place for kids or have a picnic with the whole family.
Enjoy beautiful views of the crystal clear water, boating, beautiful spring flowers and listen to soothing nature sounds. You will be captured by stunning views of cherry trees. After walking or biking you can lie down by your bicycle on gently sloping lawns under the charming cherry blossoms which are everywhere around you.
Get this spring bloom experience! Just take your jacket as the weather can quickly change. Ferdinand Street Boat Launch is a perfect spot to hang out and admire cherry blossoms in Seattle. These amazing flowering trees symbolize the renewal of spring and friendship between nations.

To get there from the Lacey V. Murrow Memorial Bridge, Wa:
The fastest route is through I-90 W, Rainier Ave S to get Lake Wasington BVL S.
If you are in Seward Park it's easy to get Ferdinand Street Boat Launch. Drive along Lake Wasington BVL S and you will see the park.
