Reflection Lakes are the most beautiful lakes in the park. They received its name from a close full reflection of Mount Rainier in its waters. The most picturesque view of Mount Rainier opens at Reflection Lakes. This is one of the most photographed locations in the park.

Forest Road 52 is also known as Skate Creek Road. It travels between Packwood and Elbe from east to west. This is a paved road that runs through gorgeous forest following amazing Skate Creek. This low elevation forest is home for evergreen and deciduous trees.

Mount Rainier is called by Native Americans Tahoma, meaning “the great mountain” and it is really great! This gorgeous and active volcano, with an elevation over 16,000 feet, was formed half a million years ago out of lava and ash. It is also known for 25 majestic glaciers that cover the summit.
This is a short loop trail without any barriers that goes along Takhlakh Lake. It gives the opportunity to the hikers to enjoy the magnificence of Mt. Adams.
