Description:

Photo from King County, Sammamish, Beaver Lake ParkBeaver Lake Park is a perfect park for family recreation located in the city of Sammamish. Parks’ history has begun in 1900 when the property was bought by the Weyerhauser from the Burlington Northern Railway and later the land was resold to the private resort operators. In 1985 the area was purchased by King County and developed into a regional park. On January 1, 2003 the park was transferred into the hands of the city of Sammamish.

Nowadays Beaver Lake Park offers fabulous opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing and family recreation. Guests of the park will find great possibilities for picnics and sports. There are three ball fields and a wonderful picnic shelter.

Many couples choose this park for their wedding ceremonies, because the park offers wonderful Lodge. By the way, discounts are available to eligible community groups.

The park’s trail network covers about two miles and the trailhead is near the lake. The path runs along the lake in the woods. The trail is well-maintained and wide. Pictures of the trail can be found below. Take a look before going to the park. It should be mentioned that there are two access points to the park and hiking trails through the woods connect these two parts of one park.
